Christina Aguilera turns back on reality

Jordan to star in a 'Newlyweds' style show, following the success of the series that catapulted the now divorced Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey to fame.

However, Christina insists she has no plans to follow in the footsteps of pop rivals Jessica and Britney Spears - who starred with husband Kevin Federline in 'Britney and Kevin: Chaotic' - and make her private life public.

She told MTV: "Our relationship is very private and special and sacred to me."

The 25-year-old pop beauty also said she felt "sorry" for reality TV stars like Jessica and Nick who turned their relationship into entertainment.

Despite Christina's reservations, Britney is keen to star in another reality series.

She recently announced that she and Kevin plan make a second series of 'Chaotic' to put an end to the rumours their marriage is in trouble.

She said: "I know that things are fine, but this show will put paid to those rumours finally."
