Kate Moss best Dressed

Kate Moss has topped Vanity Fair's best-dressed list for 2006.

The supermodel - who appears in a photo spread inside the magazine's September issue - beat a host of celebrities to the coveted title, including George Clooney, Renée Zellweger and Gwen Stefani.

Britain's Prince William and 'Lost In Translation' filmmaker Sofia Coppola also feature in the international fashion census.

Taking pole position in the fashion bible's list is the latest step in Kate's amazing comeback.

The mother-of-one's earnings have soared since her cocaine scandal last year.

She was worried her career was finished after pictures of her snorting the Class A drug were published last September.

The 32-year-old catwalk queen was immediately dropped by a number of top fashion houses including H+M and Roberto Cavalli.

But now Kate is back in favour with the fashion industry and has signed new deals with, among others, Burberry, Calvin Klein and Virgin Mobile - contracts that are set to earn her a staggering £10 million by the end of 2006.
