Brad Pitt says he and Angelina Jolie moved to New Orleans because they felt "something mystical could happen" there. The couple relocated to the U.S. city after a visit convinced them it was the perfect location to raise their six children.

Speaking at the New Orleans premiere of his new movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" - which was filmed in the city - Monday night, Brad said: "Well it was big tax breaks that brought us here. I mean, that's not my department, but that's what brought us here. I'm telling you, it did something else for the film."

"It suddenly grounded it in a way that wouldn't have worked in other places. You know, there's magic and rhythms to New Orleans, that something mystical could happen here."

Meanwhile, Brad has also revealed he was pleased to be able to help the city - which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 - through his charity, the Make It Right Foundation. More...

Sienna Miller and Balthazar Getty want to star in a film together. The "Factory Girl" star - who was recently reunited with the married "Brothers and Sisters" actor following a brief split - hopes working together will win over critics of their romance.

A source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Her advisers are warning how unpopular that would be."

Tilda Swinton says getting dysentery helped her performance in her new film.

The Oscar-winning British actress - who plays an alcoholic in "Julia," which was hit by severe budget cuts and shot in Los Angeles - claims the debilitating illness, which leaves sufferers with chronic diarrhea, helped her connect with the role.

Tilda, 48, said: "Shooting 17-hour days over six-day weeks, everybody with dysentery - it made that film. It's not that we made a film about an alcoholic, but that we made an alcoholic film."

Tilda insists she had a clear idea of how she wanted to portray the struggling character, who kidnaps a millionaire's grandson in the movie, but was also inspired by director Erick Zonka's vision. More...

Britney Spears wants to marry again in "five years" time. The 27-year-old singer - who is divorced from second husband Kevin Federline, and had her 2005 marriage to Jason Alexander annulled after just 55 hours - is keen to wed for a third time despite her bad experiences.

She told America's Glamour magazine: "In five years I would like to be married and have a father figure for my kids, someone who is a provider and can be really stable."

Britney - whose sons Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two, live with their father Kevin - also appeared to blast the rapper's parenting ability, adding: "It's hard doing it on your own."

Amy Winehouse's husband is planning to appear on her favorite TV show to win her back.

Blake Fielder-Civil - who has been in rehab since leaving prison last month - reportedly thinks starring on reality series "Celebrity Big Brother" would be the perfect way to prove his love for the troubled singer and show he has quit drugs.

A source said: "Blake has told me he's been asked about doing 'Celebrity Big Brother.' Amy is a big fan of reality TV and Blake knows she will be watching it."

Shia LaBeouf is set to star in a new John Grisham adaptation. The actor has agreed to take the lead role in thriller "The Associate" next year.

Shia - who recently made website ETonline's top 10 hunks of 2008 list - will play a Yale Law School student who is manipulated into accepting a job at a high-flying law firm before he discovers privileged information about a sensitive case.

The Associate, Grisham's latest book, is not due to be published until January, but Paramount Pictures has already secured the rights to make it into a movie.

Shia and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura received early copies of the book while they were shooting sci-fi sequel "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" in the Middle East. The pair agreed to sign up to the project together shortly after. More...

Britney Spears was "in awe" of Simon Cowell when she met him on "The X Factor."

Simon - who was photographed with Britney and his fellow judges Louis Walsh, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole after performing her hit track "Womanizer" on the British TV talent show on Saturday - claims the 27-year-old star was stunned when she met him.

He said: "This may be a bit egotistical, but I think she was in awe of me. She was just staring at me. I said, 'Touch me, I'm human,' and I think that broke the ice."

Daniel Radcliffe says it "would be great" to get an erection on stage while performing in "Equus."

The 19-year-old actor strips off in the controversial play about a boy with a partly religious, partly sexual fascination with horses, and admits he would feel more comfortable if the audience saw his manhood in all its glory.

The "Harry Potter" actor, who is currently appearing in New York's Broadway theater district, said: "A friend asked me once, 'Are you worried about getting an erection on stage?' I said, 'No, that would be great!' Rather the opposite takes place actually."

Will Young "feels like a man" after putting on weight. The "Grace" singer has piled on the pounds after over-indulging on his favorite treats and alcohol but is reluctant to diet because he enjoys eating and drinking too much.

He said: "I look bigger than I used to but I feel like a man so I quite like it. I'd like to lose a bit off my tummy but that would mean I'd have to stop drinking beer."

"Maybe I could eat less but I'm not very good at that either so I'm a bit of a c**p pop star in that sense."

Britney Spears says it has been a "hell of a year" for her. The 26-year-old singer - who is set to release her new album Circus Tuesday - admits she has struggled to get her life back on track since her public breakdown earlier this year, but is pleased her fans have stuck by her.

She said: "The whole year has been a hell of a year for me. I have been working so hard on my album, but I didn't know exactly where I stood with everyone. When I received my MTV Video Music Awards and the audience stood for me, it showed me how much love is out there."

"Recording this album has helped take my mind off certain things. For me, my music is therapy."

Britney, who also celebrates her 27th birthday tomorrow, revealed she now prefers staying in with her two sons - Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two - rather than going out partying. More...
