Jessica Simpson had to overcome terrible shyness as a girl and claims she is nothing like her gutsy character Daisy Duke in new movie 'Dukes of Hazzard. ' .

The 25-year-old says she may have Daisy's hot looks but doesn't share her outgoing nature.

She confessed: 'I am very shy. There are things Daisy does that I could never do".

But despite her confession, the singer has been slammed by a Christian group for being "slutty" in her new video.

The religious organisation, known as 'The Resistance', wants the stunning singer to re-shoot a 'clean' version of the promo for 'These Boots Were Made For Walking' and publicly apologise for her saucy performance.
