Jessica Simpson accidentally attacked a man with a pool cue on the set of her new movie after mistaking him for a stuntman. .

The pop babe, 25, who plays Daisy Duke in 'The Dukes of Hazzard', was required to break the cue by whipping it across a man's back repeatedly.

Unfortunately, the blonde started attacking the wrong person. She revealed in a TV interview on the 'David Letterman Show': "I got to kick the poop out of somebody.

I thought he was a stunt guy and the stick would break.
"I was like: 'Oh gosh, this is the last shot! I have to break it!' so I ended up losing my mind.
